Beyond a single discipline
Aircraft knowledge matters. So do transaction strategy, maintenance judgment, personnel leadership, financial oversight and a clear understanding of how the owner intends to use the aircraft.

Yellowstone brings together professionals who have carried responsibility for complete private aircraft operations—not merely worked within one part of them.

Yellowstone did not begin with a brokerage formula. It grew from work inside aircraft operations and from the responsibility of making the entire ownership experience perform.
The experience behind Yellowstone spans the flight deck, maintenance oversight, aircraft sales and acquisitions, the development and leadership of flight departments, financial and vendor management, aviation facilities, and the daily support of private owners.
Across new departments, established operations and aircraft in multiple categories, the same lesson continued to surface: no consequential aviation decision exists in isolation. The aircraft affects the crew. Maintenance affects availability. Contract terms affect technical leverage. Facilities, training, vendors and leadership all influence whether the owner receives the safety, reliability and usefulness expected from the investment.
Yet those responsibilities are often divided among specialists who see only one portion of the outcome. Yellowstone was created to provide the missing continuity—bringing the relevant operating, technical, commercial and management experience together around the owner's objectives.
Aircraft knowledge matters. So do transaction strategy, maintenance judgment, personnel leadership, financial oversight and a clear understanding of how the owner intends to use the aircraft.
Experience building, leading and strengthening flight departments showed that aircraft selection cannot be separated from crewing, training, supportability, facilities, reliability or long-term value.
Yellowstone keeps experienced professionals close to the work, connecting the aircraft, transaction and operation instead of passing the engagement through layers of sales and account personnel.
The principle that followed
An aircraft transaction is not successful merely because it closes. It is successful when the aircraft is right for the owner, properly understood and positioned for what comes next.
Our operating model
Every operation is structured around the owner’s mission, preferences and desired level of involvement. That may mean a fully staffed internal flight department, a contractor-based operation, direct management by Yellowstone or a tailored combination of the three.
Where the goal is an independent department, Yellowstone builds the operating structure, selects the personnel and works alongside the team through launch and early use. Once the department is prepared to function on its own, Yellowstone steps back and remains available for advisory support or periodic reviews.
Where ongoing management is preferred, Yellowstone continues overseeing the aircraft, personnel and operation indefinitely.
The objective is not to make an owner dependent on Yellowstone. It is to establish the right operation and provide the level of continued involvement the owner wants.
The Yellowstone team
Yellowstone brings together pilots, flight department leaders and aviation professionals whose backgrounds span turboprops, light jets, midsize and super-midsize aircraft, and ultra-long-range platforms.
That breadth allows Yellowstone to match each engagement with relevant operating experience without limiting the owner to a preferred aircraft category or manufacturer. When aircraft-specific judgment is required, the firm draws on professionals who currently fly—or have flown—the aircraft involved.
The team’s experience extends beyond the flight deck. It includes aircraft sales, acquisition and delivery, flight department leadership, personnel selection, training, maintenance coordination, financial oversight, vendor management and the practical requirements of supporting private owners.
Clients work directly with the professionals applying that experience. There are no layers of sales or account personnel separating the owner from the people doing the work.
Founder

Thomas Call is a professional pilot and flight department leader whose background includes aircraft acquisitions and the development, leadership and management of multiple private flight departments.
Thomas holds type ratings and maintains current operating experience in the Pilatus PC-24, Bombardier Challenger 300 and Bombardier Global 6500. His broader flying background spans additional turboprop and jet aircraft.
He founded Yellowstone around a team-based operating model: bring together professionals with experience relevant to the aircraft and assignment, keep senior people directly involved and evaluate success by the owner's complete outcome—not simply by whether a transaction closes or a task is completed.
